Click on the Clock on home screen. Click 'More' tab at bottom. Should be option there to Display the clock on the title bar in all programs.

As an alternative, you could use VistaHide Battery Gauge. It displays a 1 or 2 pixel rainbow line at the very top of the screen, which diminishes from green through yellow to red as the battery runs down in 10% increments. Then you can completely remove the battery icon from the title bar using Diamond Tweaks or registry edits. VistaHide is an .exe file that you just put on the phone in the \Windows\StartUp\ folder so it autoruns whenever you do a soft reset.
