look into a free service called LogMeIn at logmein.com

Its a more friendly remote desktop service that has a serverside application that runs in the background. That way you never have to memorize IPs. It works very well on the TP after you disable auto correction on they keyboard. The VGA screen is great for handling stuff on your computer, much better than the Mogul.

I use RDC but also with Hamachi. This free peer to peer VPN software let's you keep all your machines on the same virtual network over the internet. I have it running on all my computers at home as well as my TP. That way I can open RDC, just enter the computer name, username and password, and I'm in. No need to memorize your home's public IP address or forward ports on your router.
