Dialer annoyances

Hello-

One of my biggest usability problems with the TP is how the dialer responds to the "wheel" for iPod-style scrolling - this combined with the fact that the arrow "keys" are essentially part of said wheel, makes navigation erratic at best. Then when you want to press OK, you end up moving the selection because it's so sensitive. Is there a way to turn this off?

Also, the way it consolidates work/home/mobile/etc into one entry in the list, requiring you to press tiny arrow buttons to separate. Easily and *accurately* choosing is impossible without a stylus. I just wish opening any contact would always open the choice menu like it does when you go though Contacts.

Anyone know any ways to get around this?

I'm using eRice's latest kitchen.

Thanks!

-TM

Re: Dialer annoyances

For the first issue, install diamond tweaks from here:programs, tweaks and then change the "19-Touch Sensative Wheel" under phone to disabled.
