Re: Skyfire Version .9

I dont want to rant about Skyfire but this product has been doing nothing but disappointing me since version .80 when they removed the manual zoom functionality, and since there it's been a steady decline downhill. Upgrading to the Touch Pro just made matters worst with their dismal VGA support. Honestly I'm not looking forward to the final product now, and hope Opera Turbo teaches the developers a thing or two.

Re: Skyfire Version .9

This version is a large improvement over the slow, checkered mess that was the last version on my Vogue. Rendering pages is double as quick now, scrolling does not stutter nearly as much, checked board occurs much less now. Definitely a thumbs up

Yeah, it just seems to be getting slower and clunkier with each release. On top fo which, it has zero cutomizability. I can't fathom why they removed the manual zoom function, it was among their best features.

Re: Skyfire Version .9

I think part of the problem is there is alot more people using the service then there was when it was a private beta, therefore the overall rendering speeds (at least for me it seems) is much slower then it was before.

Re: Skyfire Version .9

Nice, Opera Turbo sounds like ti could be sweet. I don't mind Skyfire, but I only use it to watch videos and stuff that I can't pull off with Opera.
