Diffrent way to dye your Sprint Pro Batt Cover!

So i was sitting here bored watching family guy and i was thing about dying my pro battery cover... and i thought well i got a black permanent marker so i got up grabbed it and colored the back. yeah i know it sounds dumb but it worked! what you have to do is color it then rinse it in water and wipe it with a paper towel or just a towel until the glossy color goes away and it will leave the bottom the color of the marker! I had to do it twice to get it good. I imagine it would work with any color you have so go ahead and try it out if your bored and to lazy to go get dye like I was…

IT WORKS LOOK AT THE PICTURE AND FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS... NO SPOTS! NO BLACK FINGERS! NO UNEVEN COLOR! THE INFORMATION IS HERE DO WHAT YOU WANT WITH IT...

TRY IT IF YOU HAVE THE TISTACLE FORTITUDE! or just go buy some black dye...

Sharpie? man I think that's going to come off and ruin the cover.

u sir, are one brave man, i dont think id be capable of doing ANY sort of DIY w/e to any of my gadgets. I must be just extremly scared of any result i do to any of my things lmaos. *sigh* i hate being paranoid, it really cuts back on the things you could do to your things

nope thats why you wipe off the glossy color the rest stays and dont come off... i was bored and im already on my 3rd pro so i figured theres another replacement in my future if i mess it up... and it was a KING permanent marker with a FAT tip. I imagine any permanent marker will work

This seems like more work than using fabric dye.

That looks slick but it demands an endurance test, wet hands and permanent marker smell tolerance.

Sharpies also tend to be more expensive, if you want a color other than black, since you would need to buy the color set. Also, it typically gives an uneven coating, so some spots would probably be darker than others without putting on SEVERAL coats, but whatever works for you.

NO! you rinse it after it dry’s and you wipe off the top until the glossy finish goes away and it leaves the cover dyed...
