(If ya didnt know the replacment program cost for our phone went up)

Here is why your idea won't work:

They won't do the swap unless its been active for 30 days. No insurance or warranty or other claims until 30 days... They don't give in on that policy easily.

Was it a device that was previously activated on your account? Reps get fired for overriding things like that for THIS very reason...

no the Pro didnt come out til the 2nd, for us normal people, thats when I got it and it was the store manager who did it. after that it had to have been 2 weeks and I did the claim on the cracked chrome. ( at a different store and still less than 30 days)

Your situation is different. The phone was yours from the start. ;)

Yeah. The policy doesn't apply if its a new purchase because new purchases are covered under the 30 day return umbrella and doubly so, they're much more likely to work with someone who's been with them over 10 years :)

So when I read posts about cracking crome, I thought to myself man these guys dropped their phone! Well I must admit I was wrong! I just noticed 4 or 5 spots on my pro where the chrome is cracking of flaking! Went to a store and they said nutten they can do so I called up sprint and I'm getting a replacement sent out!
