How do I change the default browser?

Sprint Touch Pro

I need to be able to filp back and forth between Opera and PIE. Just clicking on the program won't do it. I have a piece of software from my company that has to have PIE as the default. I want to use Opera away from work, plus I can go weeks without using the program, so I need to be able to change the defualt.
So how?

open opera go to settings/advanced/uncheck "set as default browser"
soft reset
cee if that gets your fix

My default browser changed to IE for some reason, but I want to change it back to Opera. Unfortunately I don't have the option for "set as default browser" in the advanced settings for opera.

I don't either, but I want to change mine from opera being the default and actually go to IE
