FINALLY Figured out how to Ignore TouchFLO in eMail!!!!!!

YES!!! FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT ALL BY MY LITTLE SELF....

Goto Regedit

Find HKLM\Software\OEM\TFLOSettings\TFLOIgnoreAPPs\
Create a new String Value called IgnoreAppM
and for the Value data just put tmail.exe

Now you can scroll select/highlight multi email's and delete them.

Hit Thank you on the bottom for this....I havent seen this fix anywhere!!!

so will this give you the option to "mark as read" or "delete" email directly from TF3D instead of having to open up your inbox?

It should kill touchflo (scrolling) in tmail (the email app) so you can tap-drag to select multiple emails. But then you have to use the scroll bar to scroll.

Actually its a useful reminder (disabling touchflo for specific apps isn't a huge find, it's been known for a while (used to have to edit the registry to add apps to exclude list, ewwue)

Anywhoo, I think I'll add Total commander... TF drives me nuts in there.

You would think they would have made the basic delete reply forward selections for tf3d email as they did but that would make too much sense...No this is for the multiselect functionality for the email inbox that was changed in recent builds. Now to multi select you hhave to drill down in the menu, undoubtedly to make it sinpler for people less adept at tflo manipulation, but a bad move imo. I was excited to see this find but unfortunatley it did not work. I did not hhave that key under tflosetting but i added it and the string exactly and no change....

I believe he's excited that he has been able to disable or "Ignore" TouchFLO in eMail, therefore providing multi-select in that aplication again. Something he was missing!

I am trying to do something similar in TotalComander on the 6800 w/ no2chems it has some level of touchflo incorperated, but does not have this set of reg entries....

edit: I need to remember to refresh before I add a comment to a page that has been open in another window for a while...
