Verizon htc touch pro some one shoot me

so i cooked it and it runs better then the bs that verizon put on it but i am running on a freash restart at 82% mem used... This makes it almost impossible to do anything more then make a phone call on it... I hate verizon for ripping me of 100+meg less of ram wtf...

Anyone have anything to help me out with this???

get a sprint version and then get it flashed to verizon, thats my only suggestion to you... or switch to sprint, the plans are cheaper and the internet is faster......

I agree that buying the Sprint version & using it on vz is the best option (that's what I did)

As far as your second suggestion, nobody using vz service is really going to consider that........(I had Sprint for two years & it SUCKED)

well i don't want to go over to sprint were i am there not very good pluss i don't want to pay for all the **** to get me out and then in and then the phone and blah blah.... Wonder if i can change my memory chip....?

In the NYC and Boston area, both services performed exactly the same in my experiences. Even if I didn't get service directly through sprint, I was roaming on Verizon towers. Most sprint plans should come with unlimited roaming too. Out in the middle of nowhere, Verizon probably does perform better as I think they have more towers deployed. As for EVDO, Sprint vastly outperforms Verizon. Service isn't the reason I switched anyway, Verizon wanted to charge me 40$/mo for unlimited data. I now pay less than that for everything including taxes and insurance.

I agree with what standlifemike said. Check his ROM out and I'm sure its going to make a big difference.

yah im going to try it and see whats up cus the rom i cooked on it now isn't good for this phone lol

If you are booting with 82%, you have one bloated rom. I would be surprised if the Verizon stock rom booted with that much used.
