Logmein- No Keyboard

Hey PPCGeekers, i just wanted to start off by thanking you all for the help i have gotten here either by direct posts to me, or indirect posts to other people that i have found via search.

Now, here is my TP question: (i did search this, i promise)

Last night i was trying to work with Logmein from my TP for the first time. I installed the .cab it requires and tried logging in through opera, but it didn't seem to work, the site just kept telling me to install the .cab. Then i popped open PIE (what a nightmare) and this time i was able to get to my computers "press ctrl alt del to login" screen, but when i try to type in the password field , the only key that works is the delete key (tried both the onscreen keyboard and the hardware one). does this .cab file install a program (i couldn't find one in my start>programs)?

The solution is this file. Run the cab, Then look in your games folder for KforTP, hit switch to M$ IME, then you will be able to log in to log me in. Hope this helps...

Now logmein works in PIE, but whenever i try to type things in opera, with the exception of the address bar (example:google search bar, username/login box etc), Opera just closes.

*edit- i changed KforTP back to the non-m$ option and it seems to work fine now, still no logmein in Opera, but PIE is better than what i had before!
What is this KforTP and is there a place i can find more information? THANKS for all your help!

I had been looking for a solution to that problem, thanks! (Usually, I use my TP with my Redfly when I use logmein, but it's good to know I have this option now.)

I was thinking I would have to back to the Mogul because of this issue.

Thanks all, vexing problem resolved! FYI: This fix (KforTouchPro) worked great on my HTC Touch Pro 2, Verizon-flavored, with Resco Keyboard installed, too boot!
