its not against their policy either? i could have sworn it was... i know that editing the nai on the sanyo 9000 was against it, and you could get your service terminated if caught. i'm not arguing morality, i'm just asking..

at the most they would charge you but I can watch movies off the internet on my phone so how would they prove I was tethering. not to mention ALL the people doing it. Short answer would be it is aginst Sprints policy. but I got a shorter one. Fu(k em if they cant take a joke. Ill just say "oh I didnt know"

i was mainly asking because of this statement. i was more curious about how they would know, not the ethics or morality of it. i'm under the impression that it is against their toa, and that they can terminate your account if caught, and if somebody is saying that you can get caught, i'd just like some more info about that. and also, if they do end up charging you for the data usage, that could be hundreds of dollars.
