Sprite Backup Error

i duplicated that error u spoke of. dont take this in wrong, but did u go in to start/programs/sprite backup then choose to restore?
now as far as pocket rar goes, i would dload it anyway
go here dload it to PC. if u have any troubles or whatever, just PM me. its real easy to use after u use it once.
pocket rar wouldnt fix this issue, i misunderstood what u were saying earlier, but its good to have on ur device

no. i try to click the file in the storage card like i was used to with spb.

theres one backup that i had made a while ago that seems to work when i click it from the storage card. i would rather not go back to that one though because its so long ago. but it works by going to storage card and just tapping it. the rest dont and give me that error

try this, goto start/programs/sprite backup then choose to restore?
then tap on sprite backup file, then tap next
follow instructions from here on out, cee what ya get

Unrelated, but pocket rar is a good app to have on your phone, IMO

this is tha method i use everytime with Sprite backup, and trust me i've done a lot of restores...works everytime

WHAT THE HELL?!

i restored to the only backup that worked. now it wont boot up. i freezes at the damn sprint logo animation at beginning. just hard reset it

wow, u got some strange issues goin on, but i would take the battery out first then try again...or do a soft reset, first. then cee if it'll boot...if not, might have no other choice but to do a hard reset

this blows. its too late. i had to do a hard reset cause the screen wouldnt even boot up after sprint logo.

i can only hope that after this hard reset i can some how for some reason click the backup on storage card and magically fix it back

heres where im at. just did hard reset. installed sprite backup program first thing. went to actual program and clicked restore like you suggested. it started searching for all restore files. i clicked the most recent one. and as of right now its in the restoring process. lets see what happens when this finishes/if this finishes without errors.

in theory this should put every single setting, contact, program i had on phone the day i made that backup, correct? even thoguh i just did hard reset? programs will work fine still?

in theory, of course. but yes, whatever THAT file had on it, should be restored when its done
