Hang on soft reset?
I flashed a new rom that I made via the kitchen, then did a hard reset.
When I did a SOFT reset, it hangs at the start screen with the usual info at the bottom... I tried making another rom.... same deal.. Tried using a prepackaged rom... again.. same issue. I've been flashing for years now, started back when I had a 6700.. Why is my TP hanging @ boot screen, but ONLY when I soft reset it? If I do a hard reset, it works perfectly, for however long I use it, until I soft reset it again, then it locks on boot... help?

use one of the soft reset apps. or send it back, sounds like a hardware issue. try this app. to see if it works, i use it on my diamond. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?p=563881

Did you ever figure this out? I'm having the same issue - I flash a ROM it works great until I soft reset it and it will never boot into the OS again.
