Re: Need 100 percent functional TCPMP for Touch Pro
RC1 recomp 3 is the one to use:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=380387 But you will find the lack of acceleration makes that resolution hard to handle for the TP. Coreplayer may be your option for .avis if you cannot get it to play smoothly on TCPMP. |

Re: Need 100 percent functional TCPMP for Touch Pro
Thanks guys, I am using that version already and did read those threads, still issues utilizing the resolution capabilities of the phone with theTCPMP's listed. I know that Youtube looks pretty nice now, but not sure what rez and specs their vids have currently when they play on the TP but they seem to look andplay better even through a web connection on the TP than the videos using 480x640 currently.I havent tried converting to 15fps yet, but was hoping to avoid that as that seems to take me backwards a few years . I used Core player before and really thought it was identical to TCPMP but evidently I was mistaken. Thanks for the replies and please let me know if anyone comes up with a better TCPMP or alternate player that is as functional. The phone itself is wonderful , I just hope the software to show it off comes along before the phone dies out. Thanks again.

I highly advise reading this thread http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=57282
if you want to watch great quality h264 video on your Touch Pro, thanks to Dishe for letting us all in on this tidbit if you did not know it. I would have never have thought of playing H264 in HTC album but it works great. |
