Unfortunately, there are known issues with the dialer.

If so there has been issues with answering calls when AC or DT were installed.
Calls comes in your phone starts to ring/flash...you press answer (screen)/or key etc...and no response..it just keeps ringing/flashing. There are numerous thread about this issue...it has to deal with the HKLM/Comm/ConnMgr/Planner/Settings "SuspendResume" value which changes upon the install of AC/DT. Default setting is #777 |

No you dont have to, just go to the reg and edit the setting that I had posted soft reset and that should take care of the problem.
