having to soft rest/remove battery more and more

Just with in the last few weeks my phone has been acting very strange. First the ringer on the phone is getting worse and worse, for example, it used to ring right away but now seems to be having issues between the htc dialer and my s2u2 full screen caller id and slide to answer, at times I have to do a soft reset to fix this.

Additionally it has been locking up much more and today the screen went black and even a soft reset did not work, had to remove the battery. Thing is I have never experienced problems in my almost two months with the phone like I am now.

Could it be that the tweaks you have been making and the apps youhave been installing are phuking up your TP!!! Dialer,S2u.....I suggest you do a hard reset and start fresh... Backing the TP as is wont help Jack as it is phuked up, contacts yes and that is about it....install your prog one at a time and keep your eye open

Re: having to soft rest/remove battery more and more

I had this happen to me the other day. It only happened once but after a call the screen went black and I could not get it back without removing the battery. I do not have any of these dialer programs installed and have done little moding. I am not sure that the dialer is the cause but I would have to agree with the others and hard reset and try again.

+1 the above. The important part is installing those apps one at a time.

late,
