gmail username/password re-confirmation

Touch Pro keeps asking me to re-confirm my gmail username/password. I re-type, it seems to work as i can send and receive to myself, but a couple of hours later (based on send/receive schedule) the screen is asking to reconfirm again. This is my second TP, first one did not do this with same email account. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Re: gmail username/password re-confirmation

I had the same problem, but it had a hardware issue as well so returned it and got a new one. The new one worked fine so I would consider getting the rom and redoing it.

Re: gmail username/password re-confirmation

I have the same problem, but far less frequently.. mine only asks about once a week, so I just click ok and forget it...

I think when it first started happening, it was as bad as your problem, so I deleted the account and recreated it, and that solved the problem for a couple months..

Re: gmail username/password re-confirmation

I believe it to be a Gmail issue, one of the reasons I now forward GMail to Everyone.net. Have you looked at another email application such as FlexMail? Fewer issues all around.

I had this same exact thing happen to me the other day. It happened 4-5 times in a row. I was getting really annoyed. It's not really doing it as often anymore. Maybe once every 4-5 days.

It must be something with gmail.

Re: gmail username/password re-confirmation

Try doing this: http://www.google.com/accounts/UnlockCaptcha

It took me forever to figure this out, but resetting this makes this problem go away.

Re: gmail username/password re-confirmation

If you delete it and set it up again it should work fine. Correct, after awhile the settings seem to get off for some weird reason.
