Has anyone fixed the recent calls/TF3D landscape problem while sliding the KB?

I still have the problem (and have tried about 5 roms now) where when I open a text or email and slide open the keyboard I usually get my recent calls or TF3D landscape program to pop up. It is very anoying when Im trying to type a quick text or email... Someone said to replace the volumecontrol on here awhile ago, but that did nothing... My brother gets this problem too, and this is our biggest problem with the phone. It happens over 50% of the time when I open my keyboard. It seems to work better if I open the text, then wait at least 5 seconds to open the keyboard, then wait another 5 seconds to start texting.

yea it is pretty annoying but only happens sometimes for me. Going into the text or whatever first usually keeps this from happening.

It seems to be ok if I disable TF3D. But I like TF3D, so hopefully HTC can fix this problem.

just tried it about 20 times on mine and it stayed in email mode. My build is 1/8/09 so maybe the new builds fixed it.

its sometimes ok once the phone is reset, but usually not even that.. It text a lot but only email sometimes on it, and seem to notice it mostly on texting. but right now I am trying to send and email and I am waiting over 5 seconds once I open the email to slide the keyboard and im still getting the problem. I have an earlier build, but I would think it would be a software problem.
