i haven't found a cab, but nrg touch pro tweaks works great. advanced 3.3 doesn't set everything dummy proof, just some. nrg tweaks needs to be ran along with it to make it dummy proof. and with cricket, on most roms there is no stoping sent msg notice. the cabs used to get cricket to work overide either advanced and nrg. and even reg edits. no way around it. unless you set up manually.

Hi does anyone have a Verizon Touch Pro 2? I've used advanced configuration for a long time and it's something I install on all my devices but it did not fix this problem even when I use that very option. I also tried the cab jeriel05 suggested, still nothing... My wife and I text back and forth like 20,000 times a day so this message is VERY VERY annoying. It might not bother people who prefer calling but it's not logical for us to stay on the phone with each other all day long... I like the phone but I will get something else if this cannot fixed. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

you are in the TP section of this forum. everything you need is in the TP2 section. I attached it for you though.

Yea I went on looking on google and found one specific for verizon and TP2 here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...&postcount=169

That finally got rid of the actual pop up but still displays the icon at the top of the screen for a few seconds. This is 100x better but I find it kida sad it took this many attempts on a $600 phone just to sort of get rid of something that should be so simple...

the one i attached is the fix. the one you linked to has the problem you described.

Yep already installed it after I noticed it said updated in the title. Thanks for the help. I still find it really messed up I had to go through all this just to get rid of "message sent" it's like they were punishing us....

yea...that usually does the job, but not on the verizon tp2, as he already said. it's a known problem
