Yes you can, but just to be sure you may want to check with others that have the same headset about the sound quality.

Thanks for the info man. I think I will wait until I get my phone and see how the quality is. I did find a motorola s9 stereo bluetooth which I think ultimately I will get as it is geared toward handling sweat and getting wet. I think I will keep my H15 for the car though. I really do appreciate everyone's help.

Re: HTC Pro question regarding listening to music

I have used Sony Ericcson Stereo Bluetooth headset since i started using the PPC6700 all the way till now. They have very excellent sound quality. The one that i have now has more usage in different places.

Model: HBH-DS205

This model, from the way it was design. It's mainly serve for music.

It's a two piece combo.
one bluetooth receiver and one stereo headset.
You can take it on the go with you.
You can use the receiver in your car
You can use the receiver in your home

I got it for 40.00 from ebay. It was a good deal to pass up since the item ranges from 62.00 to 79.00.

I do have two pairs , and willing to part one.

Sound quality on a mono BT headset really suck. I have tired it and it's a no go for me. Since i love listening to music whenever i get a chance, sound quality is top priority.

About the S9 headset. IMO , it's kinda bulky depend how big of a head you have. In my case , the S9 stick out too much , and it's not comfortable when doing bench press at the gym.

That is the way to go, the sound is really good & they are indestructable.

I have an S9HD that I use at work every day & my son uses my old regular S9. My son is a college football player & he uses it while working out etc & generally beats the sh!t out of it & he loves it.

Re: HTC Pro question regarding listening to music

I have been looking into getting a stereo Blue tooth headset for some time now. I know jmorton gives a thumbs up to the to the Motorola s9, the most of the reviews I found were less than complimentary. Fit and ability to resist sweat were the common complaints. The new s9HD has much better reviews and is warranted against sweat damage.

JayBird makes a highly rated unit JB100 that was just replace by the JB200. the older unit has taked a 60% price drop to $50 and a discount code that will get you an extra charger or extra ear tips free. They are also giving away free Ipod holder armbands that might hold the phone as well. I was all set to buy when my mogul bricked. I had to spend the money for the headset on a new TPro.

The other headset is brand new from AltecLansing called BackBeat. Was announced at CES last week. Will sell on their web site for $100. I might just save up for that one, it has A2DP. That allows you to control the music play from the headset instead of having to touch the device. The new JayBird has this as well @$130

Hope this information helps.

Re: HTC Pro question regarding listening to music

I have the Jabra S620 that I picked up in... late 2007 I believe and they work perfectly. They have amazing clarity.. and I don't know if tigerdirect priced them improperly at the time.. but I purchased them for 29.95 Canadian with $9.95 to ship them overnight.

They did and still do retail everywhere else for $129, but you can often find them near the 29.95 price since then. When I work out, I use those, because I can control the tracks, volume, pickup calls, deny them, do whatever I need without having to touch my phone, so it stays safe in the holster.

That.. and I can talk 14 hours straight on them, 16 hours of listening to music. The battery life is retarded on these things, and as I talk, I have them sitting on my desk at work right now for my ride home. I used to have a Nokia 6300, which I replaced with an HTC P4000, and last night upgraded to a Touch Pro. The sound is excellent with these things. I hope that helps out a little!

I am a big fan of the Jabra BT-3030. It has some important features and differences from most stereo BT headsets which work really well for me.
