Re: 3000 mah Extended Battery Pictures

i've been using a combo of 3 stock batteries and the 3000 for over a month now. each of the stock batteries lasts about 6-8 hours for me. The 3000 will last over a day and a half. This gives me some flexibility as far as if i want to keep the phone in my pocket if im going out and dont want a holster on my hip or when im going to work and dont care about the holster but dont want to fiddle with changing the batteries or attempting to find a safe place to charge it while i work.

Re: 3000 mah Extended Battery Pictures

Everyone seems to be talking about this 3000 battery. I really want one, even if the size is bigger than my ex wife. How are people able to say I ran all day and still have 27% left on my battery? My sprint touch pro only shows battery bars, not %

Re: 3000 mah Extended Battery Pictures

I saw alot of talk about using the sd card adapter with this Mugen battery cover. Did anyone actually do this with any success, yet? Just curious because it would probably throw me over the edge. I definately need the extra life because I do regional sales and presentations so I will be behind the wheel for alot of the day, but will do a 4 hour presentation at least two or three times per week. Both PowerPoint and Video. As it is, now, I have to plug my phone in and is just another cord to worry about. The 32gb of storage is nice to store the videos and sell sheets. I run push email and that wears on the battery, as well. Thanks!

Re: 3000 mah Extended Battery Pictures

I bought one, and I have to honestly say it's just too huge. I love the idea of not having to think about charging, but there's no pair of pants I own that can even remotely hide the thing. *sigh*

The most maddening thing for me is that the battery cover is actually thicker than it needs to be by at least 1/16", probably more. I was able to fold a piece of paper several times in between the battery and cover. If the whole arrangement was maybe 1/8" thinner, it would be such a no-brainer. On the plus side, it makes holding the phone and typing in landscape mode quite a bit easier.

Aside from the extra bulk though, the battery works wonders. I can't give an accurate estimation of the battery life, because I just got it today, but I can say that the phone didn't heat up much at all when I was browsing the web, talking on the phone, or using my bluetooth headset (in all three cases, push mail and the phone were on of course).

Also, the extra bulk makes typing on the hardware keyboard even easier than it already was, and I don't have to do any "temperature reducing" tricks (sliding out the keyboard, taking off the battery cover, etc.) while charging the battery, thanks to the bulk.

I haven't really made up my mind on whether or not I'd keep it yet. While the bulk makes the phone much better, it's still a LOT of bulk. I'm not normally concerned about a bulky phone (because as you can see in the pic, my hands are HUGE and I kinda need it), but this battery really does double the Touch Pro's thickness.

So, what do you guys think? Buy or leave it?

Pic with the quarter on the side had me LMAO. That is HUGE.
