Calendar

I've searched this forum and I apologize if this question has been answered before. When I change the view on my calender, to month view and exit out and then restart calendar, it flashes quickly to back to day view. Is this a known issue or something I'm doing?

Re: Calendar

In Calendar, go to Menu - Tools - Options and there you can select which view the app opens with. Is this what you are wanting to do, or does it change AFTER you have already done this step?

Re: Calendar

Keep searching, there's a hack to fix it. It's in here somewhere, I've used it myself.

Using is simple:
-> Start application
-> Choose Configuration
-> Click 'Init' (The Application will now check which patches are available, and make a security backup if your manila. This can take some secoonds)
-> Choose the file you want to change, tick 'Patch' and enter your prefered file. Click on Save.
Note: The '$' in arguments is for using the original commandline from manila. You can enter some other arguments before of this, but not after!
-> Change to the next Tab and click on 'Deploy' (this can take some minutes)

Yes, it changes back after that.

That's a specific program to the calendar fix? I'm working now and cannot go to the xda site. Will that file fix other issues?

I usually click on start > calendar and it opens up in whatever view you have set under Menu > Tools > Options "Start in:"

By removing the $ in the arguments field it will open the view you select from the home page calendar link.

Read the instruction posted on XDA, it does allot more than fix that issue.

Re: Calendar

I just got my TP so I apologize if I ask a silly question.

I use SPB Diary (a calendar app) in place of WinMo's. Is there a way to remap the calendar button in Touch Flo so that it uses SPB's or will it do that by default? I know there is a thread on Remapping TF3d to use Pocket Informant instead of the built in calendar and I wondered if the same needed to be done for SPB Diary or any other 3rd party calender. If so, has anyone seen directions or anything on this for this specific app?

Has anyone used SPB Diary in conjunction with TF3d? It doesnt seem like it would work well unless you Installed the "Second Today tab" mod and put SPB Diary there.
