Can I avoid to make a wrong call by pressing the name in the phone program?

Dear PPC Geeks

I am using Spring TP on VZW rom.

When I press call button, I can see the call history.
When I press any name in the list, TP automatically make a call.
Today I got a lot of complaint about wrong calls by pressing a name.
So I feel it is not safe. Is there some method to change this calling rule, like a dual click or asking a call again.
Or can I change the phone(call) program to another?
