Well I've never been a fan of bulking up my phone, so I've always opted for having 2 or 3 spare stock batteries standing by in my lappy bag for emergencies.

I bought one off eBay from a vendor in the US (there are a lot of vendors outside the US, but I usually don't trust them). I'll try and find the link where I bought it.

If you go into a Sprint Corporate store, and ask for a spare battery, they will give you one at no charge. I have done this for my touch pro. I also purchased the 1500mAh Seidio (before I knew about the free ones at the Sprint store)I now have 3 batteires for it. I would like to find a charger that will charge multiple HTC batteries. The only one I have seen, that comes close, is a desktop cradle that will charge the one in the phone and one spare. BTW, the Seidio battery is not the same exact size as the OEM. Some have said that it is larger but, it is actually a hair smaller. The OEM batteries will not fall out of the phone when it is turned over, with the cover off. The Seidio will fall out immediately. The thickness of the battery on a side by side comparison is the same to the naked eye. It would taske a micrometer or set of caliplers to see the difference for it is a mere few thousands of an inch in comparison.

what about this one? i've seen people talk about one you posted the pic of, but i'm wondering if someone has used this battery and cover? it isn't as rounded as the one you've shown. just wondering how this one fits.

I think that one is for the GSM version, not the CDMA one.

ya it doesn't say on the site. probably is. any other place to find that battery for the cdma version that isn't sold out? i don't like buying stuff on ebay when i can avoid it.
