You are speaking about the enlarged start menu and the taskmanager. Those are reg tweaks..

HKLM\Software\HTC\EnlargeMenu
edit ManiliaCustomHlDown and ManilaCustomHlUp (you can vary the color degree to give it a gradient look by using two slightly off colors)

For the taskmanager edit
HKCU\Software\HTC\TaskManager
same two keys

Use this website and use the "access code" numbers rather than hex/decimal and you'll have the exact colors without error.

I am not reffering to the enlarged start menu. I am referring to menus and program selections. I found what i was looking for. The cab is updated on my first post. With this program you can change the color of pretty much everything.

Only if your carless and not paying attention to what your changing. This has helped me change every color i wanted with the exception to TF3D. There are other cabs out there for that.

Actually, no those edits don't fix the start menu highlight button I'm talking about. I messed with th UI Tweaker app today, but I can't figure which one is the highlight bar for the start menu. It certainly isn't called that, I know that for sure because I went through every option and tab.
