Re: Remove touch screen?
Agreed. Just drop a few bucks for a protector from bestskinsever. All you have to do is make sure you clean your screen off completely, dip the film in some soapy water, apply and adjust it. Just do it before you go to bed one night and it'll be dry by the next morning. Most people I show don't even know the thing is on there.

Let's face it. No plastic covering looks as good as the naked screen. They really need to come up with some way to just swap out the top screens like on welding helmets.

Re: Remove touch screen?
I like naked screen look. And lets face it, the minor scratches you pick up don't make a huge difference in visibility when the screen is on anyway. You won't get major scratches if you take care of the phone, and if you do, just get a replacement.
They just need to move to glass capacitive screens instead of these resistive screens, because they are more durable (even if not perfect).

Re: Remove touch screen?
Not using a screen protector is the technological equivalent of doing it bareback. Just practice safe touch screen people! Do you really want to get stuff on your phone that will stick with it forever?

But no we don't want to have herpes forever,... check title/purpose of thread. Although how long is forever REALLY? How long does anyone keep their ppc before upgrading? A year maybe? That question would make a good poll. |

Re: Remove touch screen?
Ive gone from vogue to titan to touch pro in less than a year, so yeah, I guess we don't really keep these phones long enough to really worry about them. Both my titan and my iphone have run naked for several months, and I own and operate a sandblasting company, sand being pretty much the worst thing to have around these screens. Both phones are noticibly scratched when off, but cant tell anything is wrong when they are in use. I am keeping my pro protected for now, as I prefer having a perfect screen.
