TP reception sucks

Where can I find an upgraded radio version?

How funny.. I have been having thi9s issue from day one too. Late texts, late voicemails etc. But whats funny on my end is I only get this problem on the weekkends. Weird.

My problem is a little bit different, I get calls and texts just fine, but my data connection sucks, can't seem to stream anything, or even finish a download through Opera, even tough I have all signal bars in an EV-Do area...

I love how I receive multi-part text messages in awkward order... the other day 1,2,5,3,4,7,6... makes for a hell of an annoying read, and today... 1,3,2 each took about a minute between messages... what gives sprint?

On all 3 TPs reception has been worse than my 6800 in my local area. However down at school and such I get full reception where I'd get a few bars before, so it seems hit or miss.

The Telus radio helped me out, but all in all I don't care that much. My phone doesn't drop calls as bad sitting in my room at home, where my 6800 did. Text does come in laggy here though, but oh well.

Well this issue of missing calls and text messages cost me *** (by this I mean P*ssy) this weekend....so this has me absolutely PISSED OFF!! I never had these issues with my 6700 or my Mogul/Titan

Which is the Radio thats best right now? And I dont remember if flashing a new radio hard resets the rom...

I'm with you, misunderstanding and stuff because of poor service has cost me *** 2 times since I got the TP in Dec, but my Q9C wasn't any better, so I think Sprint service has just gotten bad/congested in the past couple of months. I notice after 4 PM and weekends to be horrible with data and voice in the NYC/Long Island area. I use a seperate ATT text account just because of the lousy service now, so im not missing any "important" texts that need to be responded urgently.

While roaming on Verizon, everything is near instant, only problem is, I need EVDO at all times, so I don't feel like roaming on 1x data.

I just flashed yesterday and I have noticed faster ev speeds and also my battery life seems to be better than before (although this could be in my mind) but it really does seem to be a better radio.

btw im on the Sprint Raphael Radio V1.11.00F , which from my understanding is similar if not the same as the new radio for the diamond.

I am on the same radio and have not really noticed a thing. Well maybe I have and just use to it. I am lucky if I make though the work day on a single charge.
