EV-DO Rev A Indication

Interesting. I just spoke to a sprint representative a couple days ago and she informed me that we don't get the high speed Rev A in Topeka but the above link says otherwise. All I know is that my speed is no different than with my old treo 700wx that was not RevA.

Rev A is slower than Rev 0 as I am using right here in Newark, NJ, and every time I go to my birthplace of Philadelphia, it's a bit faster than back where I reside at. I love it for now until they create more Rev A towers.

No2Chem made this available on the mogul a few months ago. I am not sure if the same technique applys to the Pro but his website gives the instruction on how to have your phone indicate if it is Rev A. On my mogul if it is Rev A a E is displayed but if it Rev O Ev is displayed and can be completed by just using a Registry editor.

Rev A is NOT slower than Rev 0. What you are seeing is just variances in network congestion and backhaul. Rev A is most certainly faster than 0.

To my knowledge, there is still no version of rilphone for the Pro that includes a RevA indicator. Short answer...not possible yet.
