Tether on Verizon TP

has anyone gotten WModem to work on the verizon version? I had the 6700 and I could tether just fine without paying the stupid fee every month. whats the deal with the TP?

When I first hooked my phone up to my laptop it installed a couple drivers. Installed the Internet sharing tool and did the edit in the EPST menu and it worked.

Use the built in Windows DUN and the WModem Driver (the same one you connect to QPST with). DO NOT use Verizon's tethering software. Alternatively, install ICS and dial ##778 and in the S.IP DUN settings change any yournumber@dun.vzw3g.com entries to yournumber@vzw3g.com
