Google in French?

How come when I use Opera Mobile it takes me to google.com in french automatically everytime?

Seems to be a side effect of the Telus radio.

Mine never did this, but I've seen on the forums here that people report it happening after switching radios.

Personally, while I was on the stock radio and stock ROM, my google defaulted to google.de...

mine goes to a german version as well, one time it was Spanish.

is there any way to go back to Sprint radio without flashing? Maybe an internal setting?

That isht happened to me on very few occasions running stock, so dunno what da deal, but was able to revert easily since I speak a few anyway...

Flashing a radio will not cause anything on your device to be lost. It's a bit different than flashing a ROM.

Try the VZW radio instead maybe? The Sprint radio really is awful...

It's your providers way of telling you to learn other languages.

JK, try going to the google home page and configuring the language for your google account on your computer and then log in on your TP, this may eliminate any of those problems because it will be universal everywhere for that account regardless of what the IP address tells google.
