Please Help! Power button not working!

Hi, I did a search before posting this and couldn't find anything helpful. My power button doesn't work on the phone most of the time. This problem just started over the last few days and I haven't added anything like new programs or anything lately. The only way to turn the screen on is to pull the stylus out, which is a feature that had never worked until now. Please help! I don't want to have to do a hard reset. Thanks
