backing up windows files

I just got spb backup and ran the full backup. I looked the the backup file created with the desktop 'backup unpack'. It doesn't seem to back up the entire windows directory from the TP. Mainly - the manila files don't seem to be backed up. Does that mean manila customizations (like the call history tab for example) would need to be re-installed after a full restore? I really wanted a complete backup of my current setup before I started 'extreme experimentation'.

Is there a way I can just manually copy all the manila files in \Windows to my PC? I tried through Active Sync explore - but I can't figure it out - it tells me it is copying, but I can't find the files on my PC. (I feel really dumb here).

SPB backs up everything if u select full back up. I have done several restores w/o missing a thing

When you do a system restore, do you hard reset before running the restore??

No hard restore Mr.Morton, just str8 up restore. If I am messing with files and new apps and something goes haywire....i have done it with all spb,resco and sprite. I know you are an avid spb fan as I am however I am leaning more towards Resco now when it comes to back up as I still use all of them. It seems like I never can get enough of BU's.
