Re: Touch Pro Registry Hack??

You can change the battery polling interval in Advanced Config tool. No need to go into the registry. If you do this and you have a cool battery taskbar icon with %...it will basically be useless because of the time it takes to update. You may as well set the display % back to increments of 10.

Most of the battery "hacks" are simply turning on power saving modes.

Re: Touch Pro Registry Hack??

So far I have done the battery hack as stated in my first post. I have the backlight set to the second lowest setting.

Also, I have done this edit as well...

1. Install NetCF3.5 on your ppc.
2. Open a registry editor, I use Reso Regsitry Editor
3. Goto HKLM\Software\Microsoft\.NETCompactFramework (this is usually the first entry
4. When you open this you'll see all the .NET installed version change the DWORD value of 2.0.7045.00 from 1 to 0
5. Chang ethe DWORD value of 3.5.7283.00 from 0 to 1.
6. Reboot

I still only get about 8 hours of mild use out of my phone.

Is there any other edits or anything else I can do to improve this.

Thanks.
