Today on Landscape Issue

When I am in Opera...and switch my phone to landscape...it switches to the today screen. I also have this same problem with sending text messages...if I'm typing on the screen...then slide the keyboard...it goes to the crappy landscape today screen.

Help? It's super annoying.

Same thing happens to me... I can start typing a message, get mad that I'm using the SIP and switch to the full keyboard and wham... back to today screen (landscape TouchFlo3d).

I've read some things that indicated it was related to TouchFlo rotation, but I'm not willing to disable TouchFlo so I have no resolution yet.

Perhaps HTC can add this to the laundry list of things to address with an update... (yeah right)

I use to have this problem until I did a hard reset. It may have something to do with 3rd party software you installed. Do you have gyrator2 or s2u2 installed?

I'm sure it has something to do with some 3rd party software...I've pretty much done all the Essentials stuff...not much more.

The ones that I think it may be is the Tweak TF3D or the .CAB that does all the sound/battery/peformance hacks...forget the name.

I was hoping that someone had figured out the exacts and could help...maybe yet!

I have this issue a lot of the time, some people said it was linked to the HTCVolumeControl.dll... but I removed it and went back to the stock Sprint one and still had the issue. I was still having the issue till I went back to the old version of Manila that has animations.

hmmm....strange...I haven't upgraded my version of Manilla so I'm not sure that's the problem. I've got all the basic battery and performance tweaks like a friend of mine...he doesn't have the problem, and I do. We even have most of the same software installed. I think it has to do something with Diamond Tweak...that's something different between our two phones....I'll play around with those settings and see if I get lucky.

Yeah, I remember I was one of the first to report this when the phone first came out, no one still hasn't solved this yet? Mine comes and goes. I'm so happy when it works like it should, then I get so pissed off at my phone when it happens again.
