Youtube on HTC Touch Pro - Verizon

How do I get plain ol' Youtube videos to play on this thing? I hate this phone on Verizon . Why they dumbed it down, screwed up the keyboard is beyond me. However, I had no choice as AT&T's coverage at my home was horrible.

I've installed Opera 9.5 Build 15233, however it still does not pull up videos on Youtube.

Did you install flash? It is most likely user error, don't blame the phone.

Its called "SEARCH THE FORUM"

Seriously, Youtube has been working on this phone since the first week of release. The CABs and instructions are here somewhere.

I would advise not trying to run it through a browser but use the dedicated HTC YouTube app which was linked here or get CorePlayer (it has a YouTube section built-in). I actually love my TP after I installed a custom ROM - everything is faster and more responsive than before - I also have plenty of memory free

Do a search for Youtube_VGA.cab

And if you want to add the youtube icon to the browser tab in touch flow,
there is a file you can modify. I think I found it on xda-developer.

how do you access the youtube in coreplayer

You could have done what I did & buy a Sprint TP & then activate it on your Verizon account.

I did that a couple months ago & my phone is awesome.
