Re: Corner Clock working
ok ill install the corner clock W backround 4all cab. ( becuase when i install the corner clock plain cab, it puts a white box in the corner.
then ill install the clear home screen cab and see if it works.. OK when i do what i just said. i get the corner clock, BUT its not a flip clock, its just a digital clock with appointments showing..... i just want the corner clock, with no appointments showing ever, i have S2U2 for that. no call history. no sprint in the corner. just the clock and maybe the date. if you could do that for me i woudl be so sooooo happy. i have no idea how to edit the files or i would try. please please please |

I can edit that back out if you want.... hang on...
Here you go.. All that will show is the date..... alarm set and all day appointments also show.. that is a totally different file to get rid of those and I had help from ACoolGuy to do that.. its complicated! |

The sprint out of the corner is the same as getting rid of the alarm and all day appointments. I can share mine with you.... it keeps those items off...
I need to take the time to put all the files "I" use together into a cab so at least it will be more simple.. but at the same time there is a sequence.... like you have to install the clean home.. then the clock you want then my home then ..... rofl..OK way too many steps.. I'll see if I can't shorten them up for future residents... (quotes on I to remind others that each individual may want different tweaks.. these would be the way I wanted mine tweaked...) |

OK... since we've learned more about all of these manila edits and answering to Brock's call... I've extracted my particular manila files that give me a clean home page and background4all and corner clock and cabbed it up so its on step. I still advise already having a working background4all and flip clock installed. Now... this will give you
http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k3...creen_0003.jpg Thanks to ACoolGuy for the mode9 edit and the developers at XDA who've figured this out for us... and of course the rest of you geeks who, like me, hunt and peck our way through to some awesome changes! For those who want the carrier to show unzip the 1c684cd8_manila into your windows directory after using the clean corner cab posted here. |
Re: Corner Clock working
cumbersome is right....tried to take off it showing any appointment at all, had no idea what i was doing. haha
needless to say it didnt work |
Re: Updated single cab! Corner Clock working
I took it off for you didn't I? Between the two cabs? That should do it for you.... its scary editing that mode9 file.. I was able to remove the "Sprint" successfully my own but when I tried to do the rest I kept screwing up and getting odd results. ACoolGuy stepped in and saved me!
