Re: Corner Clock working

That looks great CoolGuy.. thanks again for the edit to remove my appointments and alarms from the home screen!
Here's mine fixed up. I actually have an alarm set and an all day appoinment set that would be showing now but for ACoolGuy's edit to remove those views.. I can still access my call history and calendar from pressing the screen where it would have printed as well as flipping my clock to see more appointments nad pressing my clock to set an alarm.. all still functional. I removed the "sprint" myself but that was as far as my success at mode9 went.

Note: I haven't tried the corner clock on our Pro yet as I can't get to it til the weekend. but we have background 4 all working.

awesome instructions with the background4all. I'm 'going to test this out tonight or tomorrow...could I then install any theme I want after doing this or will the manilla files be changed during theme install so I may screw up the instructions you put in that zip??

Re: Corner Clock working

Shouldn't be a problem for most themes... sometimes themes will change your tab selection and order though.. depends on what manila files the creater used for the theme.. some people just change out the icons alerts and highlights... then you choose your own wallpaper.. I find for me that I prefer to take bits and pieces I know I want to make my own rahter than using a theme.. That said if the theme is an entire setup it would already set the background for all for you... maybe. LOL no real clear answer but to back up your manila files before changing the theme and if you're not happy you can revert without the hassle of a reset.

Found the original corner clock file.. for those like Mike who don't want to use background4all.. its one file. Found here:

The file is 1c684cd8_manila which is the same one we've been mode9 edit to remove "sprint" and alarms. :)

Re: Corner Clock working

i have tried all the cabs on here and i cant achieve JUST the corner clock, ( with or without date, i dont care)
i always have the call history.appointments on the screen still. the clock only home give me jsut the clock, in the middle of the screen, which it is designed to do.
but thats about it.

Ok what you need to do next is install the corner clock cab.. you've cleared your home screen but that is only a part of it.. there should be a cab for corner clock. in the first post. That will set your clock to the top corner. You can use any flip clock.. you just have to clean the 1bbxxx file of the icons if you want to the call history/calendar icons to be gone. or reinstall the clean home after you've chosen a clock. I ended up editing my files so I had some of the home features not completely cleaned off.. like date, and voice mail, missed calls, appointments (Only show if there are active notifications).
