i can't hard reset *pls help*

pls help, i just want a functioning phone again

i have a sprint touch pro, when i try to start it it freezes, so i want to hard reset it, but when i follow the instruction of holding volume down and the enter/ok button, followed by the reset with the stylus, nothing happens, it just tries to load like normal, then it freezes where it has been freezing

if anyone can help it'd be greatly appreciated

Have you tried taking the battery out for a few minutes and then retry doing the hard reset?

Soft reset first my man, if your TP comes up and you wanna hard reset just simply go to setting/ clear storage/follow the prompt. This will wipe all your data, make sure you have what you need backed up good luck sir

When you try holding down the volume down button + enter + soft reset button, make sure your phone is off when doing so.

Or you can do as hbenz suggested, same thing.

soft resetting doesn't fix anything, because it tries to load, and before the 'loading tf3d' that usually comes up appears it just freezes.. so in addition to that.. i can't reset it by going through the settings menu.

i tried taking the batter out and all, i just put it back in and tried doing it while it was off, still no go.

here's what i'm doing:

holding volume down, and the 'circle' down, then i push the reset key, and nothing happens, and i've held it for a while, doesn't seem to work

try holding the vol down button, then the center key, then the power button until it comes to the grey hard reset screen with instructions that should work. *****edit**** But do this with the power off so take battery out & reinsert to preform this.

This is the correct way, follow this and you can not go wrong.

Go under settings-system-clearstorage and do a hard reset also

i guess i'm just f*cked then. i just tried this, and it still proceeds to try to load like normal, ugh, :/
