What kind of backwards logic is that? Just because an employee does something that is against a company policy doesn't negate the fact that the policy does exist.

But that doesn't mean that it was our fault that they did it, we asked for it and they did it, do we know the policy? Weren't you saying that it wasn't right for us to have it while others don't? You can't tell me it is wrong for us to have it if indeed the rep did go against policy, how are we supposed to know.

Anyway, like I said before until I get a call from a supervisor to tell me that the rep did something they shouldn't have, then to me it is not against there policy. I have yet to see anything from sprint saying that we can't do this:drunken:

I think with the number of people who have been told it is not supposed to be done compared to the people who have had it done for them, it's safe to say that Sprint does not want people to circumvent the system to use a 3rd party vm service. I never said it was wrong for anyone to call and ask for it to be done. Hell, I did the same thing. My point was, knowing Sprint didn't want people to be able to do this, I didn't get upset or bent out of shape when I was turned down and no one else should either. If you got it to work, that's awesome for you. If you didn't, don't sweat it.

True, I agree just a visual VM program more than a novelty than anything...
Glad mine is working.....at least for now, LOL

Yeah...I'd be surprised if they go back and change it like someone mentioned earlier. I'd think they have bigger things to worry about than that.

I'm sorry. Don't mean to be a bother. Not lazy or anything. Just at work and hard to keep up with all the pages on this thread.

My friend has Diamond on Altel network. Visual VM for her is that her VM comes to her phone in form of text.

I don't know anyone who has Instict to see for my self.

But my co worker's wife has Instinct. And the way he descibed Vivual VM is that she can choose a msg and it simply plays that msg. She has option to delete, choose which msg to listen to etc...., but he doesn't think they have option of VM coming to her in text form.

My question is with this method decribed in this thread, is it like the Instinct's as descibed to me by my co worker, or is it like my friend's methon on Altel?

That is my deciding factor. I want/prefer the Altel version of VVM.

Thanks.

I am afraid that it is set up like your co worker said, however I like it like that...
It actually does come in the form of a text but not in the way you think.

The text is not readable(at least to us) and is picked up by the program before you will ever see it. The program just lets you choose which ones you want to here and lets you play/delete them...

Hope that helps

I just tried this an the tech said that I would have to setup *72 and do that good stuff, I told them that I don't want to setup call forwarding because I don't want to be charged money. He said "well, that's the only way to get it done or call PhoneFusion" I told him that I would just call back and speak to another tech. Then kindly said thank you for your "help" ha ha Then I found this on the PhoneFusion site ""When you call up Sprint, the first thing to do is ask for Tech Support right away. They are the only ones who can set up the correct forwarding - Customer Service can’t. Ask the Tech Support representative to change the "Call Forward/Busy" and

"Call Forward/No Answer" fields (NOT Unconditional Call Forwarding) to the Fusion Voicemail Plus number - 813-200-0200. The Tech Support representative will authorize and activate the feature. There is no additional charge for this service, unlike regular unconditional call forwarding which charges $0.20 per usage.""
