Network Settings Revert Upon Waking

I'm sure most of you guys are aware of this, but I couldn't find a thread about it on here, or via Google. When you change any of the network settings, and then let the phone's screen naturally fade to black, and then wake it, the settings will revert back to the defaults. For example, if I delete the data network settings, or change the number (#777 to something else), it will all come back after the phone wakes.

Is there any tweak or method to stop these settings from reverting? I'm sorry if this has been asked before.
