Can you give us the number on your battery? That might help things along with getting replacements. |

old battery: DC0809209C5 S/N 100A189L008869 P/N 35H00111-12M New battery: DC0809199C5 S/N 179A189K010438 P/N 35H00111-18M I should also add that the old battery was doing pretty well, with tweaks and hacks found on this site, up until a couple weeks ago. There are a couple things that I was thinking killed my battery life. 1 - I ran the old battery way way down (thanks to Kinoma and Monty Python), the meter was reading like 2%, shut down and didn't even have enough power to reboot until I plugged it in for a couple minutes. 2 - Installed and uninstalled sensorlock. 3- installed htchome2.cab and even after uninstall it kept vibrating on hard key press (someone on here came up with a fix for that, but maybe some other registry changes were still there?). When the old battery was doing well, I was going from 6am till 7pm and still had 60% battery with mild use (5-10 text messages, 20 minutes phone use, checking email 4-5 times, and internet maybe 10 minutes). When the old battery was doing poorly, it would be down to 40% after 4 hours off the charger with little or no use. The new battery, even though it's only been a week or so, is working like the old one when it was working well. |
