Locked up while istalling cab, how do i reset?

hmm seems to have locked up right when it asked me if i wanted to install the file from an unknown publisher. tried holding the power button. How can i restart this thing without loosing all my data?

Just do a soft reset- use the stylus and poke it in the hole in the bottom to the right of where the charger plugs in, there is small button in there that will reset your phone. (like rebooting windows)

Perfect! Thanks! I just got this thing today, and it's my first WM phone. Still on this learning curve.

Welcome! I have only been around a few months and I have to warn you, these things can be very addictive.

Play with the phone a lot and learn the ins/outs of the operating system. Feel free to post here, but I always recommend doing a search before opening a new thread. Keeps things clean and people are less likely to bark at you. READ READ READ. It takes a little while to get the lingo down.

Its a great phone, especially when you get to the flashing stage. I'd hold off a while on that and get familiar with the device first. Just my 2 cents.
