Splash screens and startup animations

There are plenty of threads for wallpapers and today screen images. Would it be possible to start a thread for custom splash screens and startup animations? I have found a couple that are definite improvements over the stock stuff. Maybe some of the more creative people show off their shoop skills and make some? What does everyone think?

I do have a couple, but I cant remember where I got them so I cant provide proper credit to the creator. I dont wanna piss anyone off. If its ok to post them anyway, I will.

Does anyone know the font used by HTC in the Touch Pro boot screen? Or what the default font that HTC uses? I am playing around in photoshop and would like to know what font they use.

I'm pretty sure HTC had the HTC lettering custom made...

LOL I am basically creating my own font for this now. This is the problem with me taking on things like this. I have all the ambition in the world, but lack the skills the carry anything out. Now I have to learn this font software and photoshop. Oh well, not like I have anything better to do.

these are cool

I like to play around in photoshop myself. What are the requirements for these screens? LIke sizes, etc? I may make a few since I'm learning to manipulate the manilla files to make themes.

Here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=44689

Its not that hard - just very very tedious. What I would suggest is reading that entire thread first, cause guaranteed you'll come up with the same problems anyone else did.

I found the prettiest icons on xda called Blossom Blue:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...13&postcount=1

What I did was found some icons that someone made over at xda, changed their colors to green in photoshop. Downloaded the needed software, and read the directions. It was easy, but just takes along time and you wanna make sure you have your colors right, etc....

If you want to change like every little single thing (cause even the lines that separate the entries like the time from call history and calendar - yes there is a file for that and you can change it!! The icons for them can be changed to), I would definately say it could take a good dedicated half of a day.

What I havent figured out is how to group all those files and make it an actual teme to change with Diamond Config, versus copying/pasting 200+ manilla files! Cause I want it to have all the tweaks and files right, and then make it a theme.

I will get there though. Here's my today screen:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...e/Screen05.png

Hope that helps!

From what I've gathered you just zip up your manila files then rename the .zip to .theme and you're good to load with TF3DConfig. I haven't yet tried it though! It can't hurt to get back your theme if it won't load with the config you can just rename the theme file back to zip and unzip to windows and you're back.

.... to keep on topic here is my welcome192 page.. yeah I know its a diamond but this is a more interesting forum!
