Re: Touch Pro Screen going batty
Here are three steps:
1=Back up your data 2=Hard reset/check it out-most likely the prob will persist the way you described it 3=Go to the store and get an exchange Sorry bout your prob dude, it seems like you might have gotten a bad unit. I wouldnt wanna keep that even if it launches ok after a hard reset.

Re: Touch Pro Screen going batty
First, soft reset. Any new programs installed? If so, uninstall them and see if that fixes it. Remember to soft reset after any uninstall, just in case there is anything left after the uninstall. If not, then hard reset. If it persists after a hard reset, take it back.

Re: Touch Pro Screen going batty
thanks for the tips guys. i'll try these and see what happens.
yeah hbenz...hopefully i can secure a new phone because as you said, i'd rather not have this even if a hard reset fixes things. |

Re: Touch Pro Screen going batty
Take out the battery for a minute or so, then re-insert.
This is going to sound weird - but my Dell Latitude laptop does the same thing. Every once and a while the entire screen will scramble itself - it looks like Yars Revenge, for anyone old enough to remember the Atari 2600. Rebooting doesn't help and sometimes just freezes without even trying to load windows (XP pro). What works is taking out the battery and disconnecting from power for a few minutes. |
