Power button not responding/working sometimes?

Hello,

This problem just started recently. The telephone froze overnight while charging (Ive read a few others having this problem as well)

Ever since that one night, My power button stopped responding. I now have to remove the stylus or open the keyboard to wake up the phone. I tried soft reset but that did not fix the issue. Later tonight I will perform a hard reset. Just wondering if anyone else has explerienced this problem? The rom and radio is stock. The only tweak installed is the white flip clock. If the hard reset doesnt fix, back to sprint it goes.
