Remove/Disable HTC SIP?

Well I recently installed Scott's latest VZ Nav ROM and I'm wanting to get the most RAM out of my phone as possible, so I'm wondering what the necessary registry edits or cab installs I will have to do to successfully disable the HTC SIP (Software Input Panel) adittions and just get the stock WM6 keyboard and inputs. I've found the Tegis folder in the registry which seems to be the finger-friendly input selector and probably even the new keyboard as well but if I rename the folder/delete it the SIP is removed entirely... I'm going to fool around with some other registry entries, namely in bootlauncher but I've had no success yet with disabling and just returning to the WM keyboards/inputs
