Re: Weather for the state of Maine
Does anyone have any idea if there's an easier way? I mean, I'm technical so I can do that, but it sure as hell seems complicated for adding a simple city.

Re: Weather for the state of Maine
One thing when you add the weather editor software and go to edit/add city you can just put the State and City name tabs the way you want it displayed and instead of all the NAM|US|... you can just put the zipcode.
Its really not a complicated program, most of us already have the netcomact installed for other programs. If not download and intsall that then all you need is the third cab .. Weatherdatabaseeditor 1.1 modified.cab be sure to use the modified. This program is very easy to use, load it up and go to united states (the interface is similar if not exactly like what you'd see to pick a city in the original program).. then just Edit/Add city... type in state, city how you want them to look then zip code in the 'Accu Weather Code" portion. Hit OK and you're good. Add whatever cities you want .... then go back to your regular weather page and you're cities will be available. Literally takes only a minute or two. |
