Re: Turn off G-sensor / accelerometer ?
Every time I search for the answer to this question this post pops up and I struggle to actually find the right answer. Lets face it the search on this site really needs some work. Help eachother out a little bit when they don't know. Searching takes a little know how and frankly I still feel like a newbie when it comes to searching for the answer to a question like this. It's not hard to post a link to something for others who are trying to overcome things that we've all had to work through.

Re: Turn off G-sensor / accelerometer ?
In order to stop the G-sensor from working in Opera alone, use any reg editor and go to:
HKLM/Software/Opera/Gsensor/ Once there, rename the key "Idletime" to anything else. Exit, soft reset, and you're done! Opera should no longer flip automatically.

Re: Turn off G-sensor / accelerometer ?
I tried to build a .reg file to do this automatically but it seems the ability to delete registry keys and values (well documented for desktop environments; adding a "-" before the key or setting the value to "-" - without quotes) does not work in my particular case. It might be because I'm using Resco Registry Editor to import the .reg file.
