TP has stopped vibrating

My Touch Pro as of this morning has stopped vibrating. When it's set to vibrate it won't vibrate and just acts as if it's in silent mode but it does show that it's set to vibrate. I've tried soft resets, and since I have a Sprint TP on the VZW network, I'm trying to avoid the hard reset.

I'm thinking this is hardware related and I need a new phone. However, I purchased it brand new off eBay (30% cashback - only reason I did) so I would I go about getting a new phone if I need to. I did purchase the SquareTrade warranty just in case.

I have this same problem on my Sprint Diamond - Help would be great.

Maybe a registry reset value or something.

Nothing vibrates, calls, texts, even games, like Teeter.

I had the same problem, but it was my own stupidity. In Sounds and Notifications, I had unchecked Programs and Notifications (alarms, reminders). I rechecked both and it all worked again.

sprint won't exchange it if you don't have service with them, but you can pay $50 and they can fix it.

I sent my phone in for repair. I'm not happy but who knows how long it will take now. I asked for a new one instead of a repaired one since I've only had my phone for one month. It's ridiculous that the phone already had something go wrong.

Have you tried a Hard reset?

Trying to avoid a hard reset because it's a Sprint TP on Verizon. I'd prefer not to redo all that especially if it won't fix the issue. Glad to know I'm not the only one with this issue though.

My Diamond did the same thing....they had to replace the main board...took 6 weeks!

Since the phone will need to be replaced, how would I go about it since I bought it on eBay and my provider is Verizon but I'm rocking a Sprint TP. The phone is still under HTC warranty.
