Re: Slide to Answer/Ignore from Touch HD ***Dark Version*** w/ Dark Dialer
I don't notice the missed calls. I miss a fair portion of calls at my apartment anyway, where I have fairly decent service, it's been this way since I got this phone...
Don't notice the battery drain either... my data connection is normally active because of Seven (push e-mail) anyway, but the drain from before adding Seven and this isn't much higher. It still easily lasts me at least a day, which is totally fine by me. |

***First Post Updated***
If you want this done right for your device, please visit you carrier's forums and request it there also. Maybe they will contact HTC and get it done right for us. Thanks. Sorry, I don't know the VZW forum (if there is one). If someone wants to post it, go ahead. |

Re: Slide to Answer/Ignore from Touch HD ***Dark Version*** w/ Dark Dialer
I have installed several different gsm dialers on my mogul where the ## codes didn't work. ##778# and ##3282# both start epst, and ##3424# starts dmrouter. These are both executable files located in the windows folder. My solution has always been to create a shortcuts pointing to them. Hope this helps.
Have the data issues been resolved. I am waiting on a tp and look forward to giving this dialer a whirl. |

Re: Slide to Answer/Ignore from Touch HD ***Dark Version*** w/ Dark Dialer
So I have been working on this awhile also. I got a hold of all the files and (correct me if I am wrong) was the first one to use S2A/S2I in a CDMA rom. I have found that without anybody being able to edit the dll files, this is a double edged sword.
In my own troubleshooting I have found that if you insert #777 you will receive all your calls without a problem but you will lose the ability of the data automatically disconnecting. If you put CDMA_bye_if_device_off then you will miss some of your calls but you will disconnect data connections. The flipside is that (at least on my rom) if you are actively using data, i.e. changing webpages, downloading a file, is the only time you lose a call. Any other time whether the data is connected or not, the call will come through without a problem. I have the CDMA in my settings, not the #777. You can also use the hard keys if the slider will not pick up the call. I have been through the entire dll file comparing it to the CDMA version. Which is very, very long looking at a bunch of hex code. Right, MrHawaii?? ![]() |

By the way, it's not free but PocketShield does the same thing as this slide to answer setup, also locks the phone & works just fine in CDMA devices.
With my phone locked, when it rings a nice full screen caller ID screen lights up with the green slide to answer & red slide to ignore buttons & a pic of the caller. The PS lock screen also shows missed calls, appointments etc etc etc ~John |

Re: Slide to Answer/Ignore from Touch HD ***Dark Version*** w/ Dark Dialer
The shortcuts I created were in mobile shell. maybe that made the difference. I just checked and I also can open either program by tapping on them in file explorer.
I hope this gets worked out. I had been using the qvga canvas, but it used so much memory. and on a titan.......... |
